the trip - Africa 2007/2008
Since October 2007 we are exploring Africa by car, expexting around 12-15 months for the whole journey. We, that ist Teresa, mexican ann myself, Achim, german.
We would like to invite you to virtually travel with us and hope you have fun reading about some of our 'adventures' in the travel jounal and viewing the photos
Please excuse that the english version is not complete, yet, but we have just begun to translate it recently.

Setember 08: We sell our beloved expedition truck! Since time and money is running out we decided to rather enjoy some more time in east africa and fly home instead of driving all the way. So, whoever wants to own a travelmobile in Kenya, here is your chance. We have put together some infomation, up to now only in german, but it is in general the same that you'll find here in the description of the car, too. If you're interested, please contact Armin in Ruanda !

| 28.03.08 | We are in Namibia, relaxing and having some longoverdue maintenance done on the car. Finally the rain is getting less as well. |
| 21.02.08 | We are in the Kongo! As planned we crossed the central African region quite quickly and try to get the visa for angola soon |
| 07.02.08 | We took the bend. For a while we'll go southbound. Leaving West Africa we are going to Cameroon now |
| 24.01.08 | Nigeria, the country of endless horror stories by other travellers. We'll see how much of that is true |
| 19.01.08 | I've lost 4 Kilo, Teresa none. Is it a consequence of her good appetite or only the reconvalescence from the malaria she had in Guinea. After leaving Mali we are entering Burkina Faso where we find the first chance to measure our weight on the whole trip. |
